Client Setup Wizard

Client Setup Wizard
The Client Setup Wizard is the first program you will run to create and customize the remote client executable file. On the first screen you can optionally import the settings from a prior help.exe file. You will then enter where you would like the file to be created, enter your company name and you have the option of adding your own logo.

Here you can enter the optional Password, Start of session messages and End of session message.

HTTP links

HTTP links
HTTP links are optional. You can add up to six HTTP links that allow you to auto-download and launch the files from any web server. Alternatively you can point directly to webpage URL to open up in the default browser.

Setup Connections

Here you will enter your connection information. You can add up to three connections to your remote client in the single user license or up to ten connection in the unlimited user license.

Once you are ready to accept connections from your customers, you run the support computer software. This software has options for 128 bit encryption and connecting via the repeater when you are traveling.

If the remote client is setup with multiple connections,  the remote client is asked what connection they would like when the program is run. If the remote client was only set up with one connection it will just connect without asking and this screen will not appear.

Once connected to the remote computer, you have complete control. From the HelpDesk VNC tool window you can set the computer to reboot in normal mode (the default) or safe mode or click on one of your HTTP links. You can also Stop/Start Timer, Draw on Screen, Open Regedit, Open MSConfig, Ring Remote User, Open System Information right from the HDVNC toolbar window.

Repeater

While traveling you can still connect to your customers with the repeater even if the network connection that you are using is behind a firewall.
